The Pittsburgh Steelers played a complete game against the Cleveland Browns. After a slow start, the offense got it in stride during the second quarter. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 162 yards and a touchdown pass to James Washington. James Conner rushed for 101 yards on 20 carries, plus a 3-yard touchdown run. Chase Claypool continues to impress with 4 catches for 74 yards and a 3-yard rushing touchdown. Washington had 4 catches for 68 and a 28-yard touchdown reception from Roethlisberger. Benny Snell scored a 1-yard run to close out the scoring in the fourth quarter.

The defense shut down the Browns running game and had 4 sacks plus 2 interceptions. Minkah Fitzpatrick returned one 33 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. Special teams were solid with Chris Boswell making a 35 field goal and his extra points. Dustin Colquitt was rock solid punting this afternoon.

A freak non-contact injury for linebacker Devin Bush that resulted in a torn left ACL. That will end Bush’s season and could cause the Steelers to sign a linebacker to fill the roster spot. The 38–7 victory over the Browns put the Steelers record at 5 and 0. It is their first 5–0 start since 1978 when they won Super Bowl XIII. Next Sunday it is the first of three straight on the road with a game against the Tennessee Titans. It will be a 1:00 P.M. kickoff from Nissan Stadium.
