The Steelers running game was again non existent and the defense suffered some injuries. T.J. Watt injured his groin in the second quarter and that hurt the Steelers in the second half. Tyson Alualu suffered an broken ankle and will be out between 6 to 8 weeks. Joe Haden and Devin Bush were inactive due to injuries. The defense was are shorthanded before the game. The Steelers shutdown the Raider running game but Derek Carr threw for 382 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Steelers offense was Ben Roethlisberger throwing for 295 yards and 2 touchdowns. Najee Harris rushed for 38 yards but caught a touchdown pass. Dionate Johnson caught 9 passes for 105 yards.
Special Teams were better than last week. Chris Boswell mad a 56-yard field goal. Pressley Harvin had an outstanding game punting the ball. The Steelers lost to the Las Vegas Raiders 26 to 17. They have to correct the running game and the defense has to get healthy for next week. Next week, is the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
