The United States took on Brazil in the final of the CONCACAF W Gold Cup. The match drew over 31 thousand fans in Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. Lindsey Horan scored the match's only goal in the first half off a pass from Emily Fox. The match against Brazil was a tough one, and Lynn Williams almost scored a goal in the 79th minute. However, it was called offside.

The United States won 1–0 over Brazil to claim the CONCACAF W Gold Cup. This tournament was a challenge and could be a preview of the Summer Olympics in Paris, France. There is the SheBelieves Cup next month and some friendlies before the Olympics. Emma Hayes will take over as head coach in June. This team has not forgotten how to win and could be even better when the Summer rolls around.
