I expected Jason Boterill to be named the new Penguins general manager. However, Kyle Dubas had a falling out with the Toronto Maple Leafs' upper management. Dubas had talks with Sidney Crosby and Head Coach Mike Sullivan. Dubas was named the President of Hockey Operations on June 1st. He will take on the general manager role at the NHL Draft until he hires someone who fits his vision for the team.

Dubas believes that the Penguins can win the Stanley Cup with changes to the roster. What will happen to the goaltender situation? Who will be traded and added on via free agency? Will Jake Guentzel get resigned or be traded? The core of the team is getting older and needs more help to get back to the playoffs.
