The field was unplayable as the United States took on Canada in the CONCACAF W Gold Cup Semifinal. The only goal of the first half was in the 20th minute when Jayden Shaw when the ball got stuck on the field. The weather was a problem for both teams the whole match. Jordan Huitema scored on a header after an Ashley Lawerence cross in the 82nd minute to tie it at 1.

The match would go into the first half of extra time, with Sophia Smith scoring off a pass from Rose Lavelle in the 99th minute to give the United States a 2–1 lead. The match would go into a second half of extra time. Canada would be awarded a penalty kick via VAR for a foul on U.S. goalie Alyssa Naeher. Adriana Leon would convert the penalty kick to tie the match at 2. The match would be settled by a penalty kick shootout. The United States would get shootout goals from Sophia Smith, Alyssa Naeher, and Lindsey Horan to win the shootout 3 to 1. The United States will take on Brazil in the final on Sunday evening.
