They Traded Kenny

Kenny Pickett is being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for 4th round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Steelers get a 3rd-round pick in 2024 and a 7th-round pick in 2025. It was a big fall from being a popular draft pick to being traded for picks. Kenny threw for 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He was supposed to be the successor to Ben Roethlisberger but didn’t have the talent or maturity to lead the team. He was being benched for Mason Rudolph late in the season. Rudolph was helping the Steelers get to the playoffs while Pickett was on the bench.

Russell Wilson signed a 1-year deal and that was a threat to Pickett. Plus, the Steelers are getting Justin Fields in a trade from the Chicago Bears. The Steelers quarterbacks going into 2024 will be different from last year.
